Wilfred Diaz

Wilfred Diaz,

Wilfred Diaz, P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S. received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2002. He then attended the University of Southern California, receiving his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2006. While at USC he received the Honor of the Golden Cane award. This is the highest honor awarded to graduates demonstrating outstanding accomplishments in a variety of professional areas. Wilfred also became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist in 2010. Wilfred regularly attends courses to stay up to date on the latest treatments and research, and helps patients with most all orthopaedic diagnoses. Wilfred grew up playing water polo, swimming, surfing, and is a Los Angeles County Ocean Lifeguard. This has led him to work with many aquatic athletes, both at the competitive and recreational level. He remains active in the local aquatic culture as swim coach with SWIM Long Beach. Wilfred is fluently bilingual in Spanish and English.

Brian Shaw

Brian Shaw,

Brian Shaw, P.T., D.P.T., joined Reischl Physical Therapy as a therapist in 2019. Growing up, he learned the physical and mental benefits of staying active as an avid basketball player and outdoor adventurer. His interest in exercise science led him to pursue both his B.S. in Human Biology in 2015 and eventually his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2019 from the University of Southern California (USC).   During his time as an undergraduate at USC, Brian had the opportunity to work as a student athletic trainer with the USC Men’s Basketball and Volleyball teams, developing his passion for rehabilitating individuals back to an elite level of physical performance. In graduate school, Brian expanded the populations he served, providing PT services internationally to under served communities in Ensenada, Mexico and Alajuela, Costa Rica.  After graduation, Brian progressed his skills as a therapist by participating in an intensive continuing education seminar focusing on manual therapy techniques and became a Board Certified Orthopedic specialist in 2021.No matter your current level of activity, Brian is committed to helping you return to a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle!

Marland Browning

Marland Browning,
Staff Physical Therapist/Doctor of Physical Therapy

Marland Browning PT, DPT joined Reischl Physical Therapy in 2021.  Marland received his Bachelor's of Arts in Physical Education from California State University Dominguez Hills in 2015.  He then went on to attend the University of Southern California graduating with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2020. He received numerous awards at USC including the Kathleen Bice Award for Service in Physical Therapy and the Order of the Golden Cane.  After graduating, Marland went back to USC to complete a residency in orthopedics which he completed in 2021.  Marland enjoys treating basketball players, golfers, and runners and has lots of experience in treatment of low back injuries and knee injuries.  In his spare time, he enjoys trying new restaurants, lifting weights, and golfing.

Office Manager

Alma has been with Reischl Physical Therapy since August, 2008. She started at the front desk and has quickly worked her way into our billing department. She earned her Medical Clerical Certificate in 2002.

Cristal,

Cristal started with Reischl Physical Therapy in May of 2017. She recently earned her certificate in Medical Billing and Coding. She is currently working at the front desk and looking to work her way up into the billing office.
