Stephen F. Reischl - P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S.

Stephen F. Reischl, P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S. earned his Physical Therapy degree from California State University, Northridge in 1977. Along with the orthopaedic board certification in 1992, he completed a post professional education program at the University of Southern California earning a Master of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 1997. He is known nationally for his physical therapy management of foot and ankle disorders. He is the former President of the Foot and Ankle Special Interest Group (FASIG), a component of the Orthopaedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. The Orthopaedic Section of the APTA.

Susan K. Reischl - P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S.

Susan K. Reischl, P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S., earned her Physical Therapy degree from California State University, Northridge. Along with the board certification in orthopedics 1995, she received a BS degree from UCLA in Kinesiology in 1977. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals. Susan has held a variety of offices in her association and treats people with a wide array of diagnoses; especially in the area of spinal dysfunction and ergonomics.

Caleb J. Pagliero - P.T., D.P.T.

Caleb J. Pagliero, P.T., D.P.T. received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from California State University, Sacramento in 2012. He then attended University of Southern California where he graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016. While at USC, Caleb earned a Merit Award for Academic Excellence. Caleb has always had a passion for biomechanics, movement, and golf which led him to volunteer his time at USC’s Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Research Laboratory. He was a research assistant in a study involving the Clinical/Biomechanical assessment of individuals following ACL reconstruction, as well as a study involving the examination of an introductory, therapeutic golf program on promoting overall wellness in older adults. Caleb is planning to become Titleist Performance Institute certified to further his knowledge of the golf swing and treatment for golfers. He is also working towards becoming a Certified Orthopaedic Specialist. 

Hannah Wallis - P.T., D.P.T.

Hannah Wallis, P.T., D.P.T. earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Providence College in 2012. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California in 2016, where she received the Honor of the Golden Cane Award, the highest honor for graduates. She has assisted in stroke, diabetes, and sports injury prevention clinical research. As a former athlete, she is dedicated to promoting health and wellness and spends her time running, cycling, and doing Pilates. She is passionate about incorporating her background of movement science, athletics, and wellness into a customized program for patients with a variety of diagnoses.

 

Jonathan Tam - P.T., D.P.T.

Jonathan Tam, P.T., D.P.T. graduated from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2011. He then earned his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2016. While at USC, Jonathan has worked in a diverse variety of clinical settings including orthopedics, hospital ICU, pediatrics and male pelvic health.

Jonathan believes in a holistic and collaborative approach when it comes to treating his patients. The treatment plan is both personalized and individualized based off the the patients goals and needs. Treatment techniques includes patient education, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and neuromuscular re-education/coordination .

On his spare time, Jonathan enjoys being outside, traveling, playing sports and enjoying the Southern California sunshine and beaches. Professionally, he is planning to get his certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and Orthopedist specialist (OCS) certifications

Kathleen O'Neill - P.T., D.P.T.

Kathleen O’Neill, P.T., D.P.T. received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, Pre-Physical Therapy from The George Washington University in Washington DC in 2014. She also graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The George Washington University in 2017, where she received an Academic Excellence award for her academic achievements and involvement in the program. While at GW PT she worked as a research assistant in a study on falls prevention in patients with Multiple Sclerosis, as well as completed an independent research project on PT outreach within the homeless population. Originally from Boston, Kathleen enjoys taking advantage of the warmer California climate and spends her free time distance running, playing soccer, and interval training. She is passionate about utilizing her experiences as an athlete to create an individualized program for patients with diverse diagnoses. She also plans to pursue her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification.

 

Carlos Moreno - P.T., D.P.T., N.C.S. 

Carlos Moreno, P.T., D.P.T., N.C.S. is a board certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy. He has over 10 years of clinical experience and worked in the Memorial Health Care system treating individuals with neurologic and vestibular disorders across the continuum of care (acute rehabilitation to outpatient settings).  While there, he exclusively worked in the Acute Brain Injury and Stroke Rehabilitation Units where he was exposed to the overwhelming prevalence of dizziness and imbalance in these populations.  He went on to lead the hospital’s outpatient Balance and Vestibular Clinic and expanded the role of physical therapy in the hospital and emergency room by implementing bedside vestibular and oculomotor exams and providing vestibular rehabilitation to aide in the differential diagnosis process and treatment of vertiginous patients.  He completed the American Physical Therapy Association sponsored Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation course at Emory University. He is also an adjunct professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Mount Saint Mary’s University, where he leads classes in neuroscience and vestibular rehabilitation.  Dr. Moreno completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at California State University Long Beach before completing his post-professional Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Western University of Health Sciences.  


               

Sarah Colen - P.T.A. 

Sarah Colen, P.T.A. received an AA in Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015 from Concorde Career College; North Hollywood. Along with earning her AA degree, she previously obtained her BA in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy in 2012 from Whittier College. 

                                                                                                                  

Randy Choi - P.T.A. 

Randy, P.T.A. graduated from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with emphasis of Rehabilitation and Therapeutic Exercises in 2010. Then earned an Associate Degree for Physical Therapy Assistant from Cerritos College in 2017. While at Cerritos College, he worked in different clinical settings such as Acute/ICU setting, neuro rehab at Casa Colina, and orthopedic setting

During his time off, he likes to spend his time playing basketball with friends, watching any type of sports event, and playing board games.

D.P.T.: doctorate degree of physical therapy

O.C.S.: orthopaedic clinical specialist (earned by approximately 4% of PTs in the nation)

P.T.A.: physical therapy assistant

Alma - Office Manager

Alma has been with Reischl Physical Therapy since August, 2008. She started at the front desk and has quickly worked her way into our billing department. She earned her Medical Clerical Certificate in 2002.

Isis - Billing Office

Isis joined Reischl Physical Therapy in May 2017. She completed her medical billing and coding certification in 2014. She speaks Spanish and English. She is a part of the front office and Billing Department. 

 

Cristal - Billing Office

Cristal started with Reischl Physical Therapy in May of 2017. She recently earned her certificate in Medical Billing and Coding. She is currently working at the front desk and looking to work her way up into the billing office.

Brianna - Physical Therapy Aide

Brianna is currently pursing her degree in Kinesiology and a minor in dance. She has been working as an aide at Reischl Physical Therapy since December, 2008. She intends to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.

 

Kat - Physical Therapy Aide

Katayani In is currently in her 4th year at CSULB, majoring in Kinesiology Exercise Science. She enjoys photography and making videos, traveling, learning new fun facts, and going on adventures (either planned or spontaneous). She aspires to be a physical therapist.

William - Physical Therapy Aide

William is finishing up his undergrad at Golden West Community College. He is looking to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.

Melissa - Physical Therapy Aide 

Melissa is currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Excercise Science at Cal State Long Beach. She plans to attend DPT school in the future and would love to become a Pediatric Physical Therapist.

Liz - Physical Therapy Aide

Liz received her B.S in kinesiology at California State University Fullerton in May 2017. She is currently going to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant at Concorde college. Once graduated she will like to pursue a career where she can work as a PTA in a pediatric clinic.

Alejandra - Physical Therapy Aide

Alejandra currently attends California State University, Long Beach and studies Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Apart from school, she enjoys exercising, volunteering, and spending time with her family. She aspires to become a physical therapist one day and help people make the most of their day to day living.

Ale - Physical Therapy Aide

Ale received her B.S. in Kinesiology- Option in Exercise Science from Cal State Long Beach May 2017. She plans on applying to PT school this upcoming application period. She has coached gymnastics for the past 5 years and this has helped with her decision to pursue a career as a Pediatric Physical Therapist.
